Obituary for Victor Rogers Barss
APPLETON – Victor R. Barss, 76, died unexpectedly surrounded by his loving family, Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the Sussman Hospice House in Rockport.
Mr. Barss leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years, Dorothy ‘Dottie’ Barss of Appleton; his five sons, Jim Barss and his wife Carol of Weare, NH, Wayne Barss and his wife Suzanne of Deerfield, NH, Bud Barss and his wife Michelle, Gary Barss and his wife Brenda all of New Boston, NH, Scott Barss and his wife Christine of Charlotte, NC; one daughter Vikki Benner and her husband Jason of Appleton; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and one brother. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Marjorie Rogers Barss; one brother and one sister as well as his granddaughter, Randi Leigh Baxter.
Mr. Barss family has chosen to remember his life privately. He will be laid to rest at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Appleton.
