HOPE – Douglas S. Durkee, 93, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the Sussman House in Rockport.
Visiting hours will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 1, 2019 at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland. A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the South Hope Community Church, 142 Main St (Rt 17) in Hope. Burial will follow at the Hope Grove Cemetery Extension in Hope. A full obituary will be published.
